GoodWill Mozambique serves as a refuge for vulnerable children and is situated in the city of Vilanculos. The facility has the capacity to provide a home for up to 50 children aged between 7 and 18.
What is GOODWILL MOZAMBIQUE?
GoodWill Mozambique was founded in 2021. The organization was established to provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for vulnerable children in the Vilankulo, Inhambane district of Mozambique. The home focuses on upholding the fundamental rights of children, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being, and prioritizing their access to education. The GoodWill team is dedicated to creating a loving, stable environment where children between the ages of 7 and 18 can thrive, grow, and eventually become independent adults.
The children’s home can house up to 50 children and operates with 24/7 care provided by the GoodWill team. The mission of the home is not only to protect and care for these children but also to foster their development through education and community involvement. The project receives substantial support from the local government, which has provided land and facilities that include dormitories, a kitchen, caretaker accommodations, bathrooms, and a communal open-air seating area that serves as both a dining and study zone.
This initiative highlights a community-driven eWort that relies on both local and international collaboration to oWer hope and a future for vulnerable children in Mozambique. Through these eWorts, GoodWill Mozambique is a beacon of hope for those in need, helping to build a stronger and more resilient generation.
